László Moholy-Nagy was a Hungarian sculptor, painter, designer, and photographer. Moholy-Nagy originally studied law, but around 1920 he worked in Berlin with El Lisitsky, where his originality was soon discovered by Walter Gropius, who set him up to run the metal workshop at Bauhaus.
